I am so glad that the age of theocracy is coming to an end - my only fear is...
How will it end? With a bang or a quiet sigh and some hot cocoa and a big sing along?

Well,
Today is my birthday - happy birthday to me.
49 if you're counting - I say I'm not, but I really am.
Everything after 30 is an amazement - I never really thought I'd make it this far.
At this point I'd like to remember a couple friends - people who somehow made my life richer for having known them.
Number one would be my dad - Floyd V. Phillips - Thanks dad, so many memories, so many things you showed me in your silent, steady way helped to make me the man I am today. I know you're watching.
Number two would be my dear friend, brother and partner in crime - Joseph E. Huntly - Bro you passed too soon. Save me a seat at the long table in the Summerlands, in the halls of our fathers.
